Whereyart, an artists marketplace
Whereyart is a Laravel based application that features artists based in New Orleans and coming soon other cities. My role here was to migrate from Laravel 4.1 to Laravel 5.6, I have also fixed a lot of bugs within a complex package they use for their CRUDL system. I suggested and implemented the usage of Laravel queues to optimize many of the application processes and now is a complete success, also the site speed increased a lot with the usage of L5.6 and PHP 7.2. I also created a home page banner builder, improved the join process and optimized load more functions across the site.
