This project was a twitter/x like experience with a focus on kindness and safety. Initially, I set up the project completely and afterwards more engineers joined the team. Our tech stack was Golang and Nuxt.js for the main application and Posthog, Open Telemetry, Grafana, Prometheus and AWS services for infrastructure, monitoring, etc. The project has been shut down after we hit 20k users, more about the shut down on Medium: https://medium.com/gabor/from-t2-to-pebble-the-rise-challenges-and-lessons-of-building-a-twitter-alternative-553652f1d1e7 My role here was to lead the backend and infrastructure development of this project, I did this for the initial 3-4 months, after this I worked alongside former Google and Discord staff/principal engineers.
